    The Original Salzburg Swing Orchestra, the former "Sachsenheim Bigband"  is con-ducted by the contrabassist Florian Alber. The widely spanned repertoire reaches throughout the history of jazz - from Glenn Miller to Joe Zawinul.

     

    Still an amateur band which was born 2003 out of the Siebenbuerger Brass Band Elixhausen (a suburb of Salzburg). Having been argued into Jazz by the bandleader, 
    the Bigband unites several generations of musicians, w    orthwile to listen to.

     

    Remarkable concerts in the frame of Salzburg's  annual "Jazz in the City" followed.
    As a long-term wish of the orchestra, in 2012 Adi Juestel joined the Sachsenheim BB as singer, pianist and quintett member.
